If you’ve watched my stories recently, you’ve likely seen me put on this scarf again and again. So when it came time to show multiple ways, I kept it to the same scarf. Despite the plenty that take up the top shelf of my closet, I cling to certain things in specific seasons like a moth to a flame.

For this look, I wore layers of HEATTEACH with a dress and leggings. When it came to the coat, this fuzzy and warm number did the trick. As each piece was picked and placed on my body like large puzzle pieces, I realized that I was creating an overall 70s winter mood, which has been a frequent feeling as of late.
With the daily use of a mask, these kinds of looks help me feel the most like myself. The mask is just an addition. With that in mind, a scarf as a stylistic and functioning piece during those days as winter gear, just makes sense.

For those wondering, my coat is c/o Maisonette, my scarf is from Linea Germania, my dress is Doén, my boots are vintage Coach, and my earrings are vintage, my bag was my grandmother’s and I’m reading James Baldwin: Collected Essays.
A scarf as winter gear, number one. Right here.

I love this look- especially appreciate the book of essays as an accessory. I can never leave the house without reading material.
