Friday’s Inspiration

How was your week? I’ve been sharing my weekly movement series on instagram since the start of the new year, and the responses have been so sweet. Movement has been a way I care for my physical and mental health. This weekend, I plan on writing and organizing parts of the apartment. I also hope to read a few chapters of a book. It’s a pretty ambitious list for a weekend, but here’s to hoping.

Here’s what inspired me this week:

This vital balm cream for the coldest city temperatures

What Will It Take?

For keeping little artists very busy this winter in an artistic way

One Love and Too Good, sustaining many

Suddenly convinced to paint everything

American racism is debilitating. It occupies and seeps out of the framework of our schools, justice system, government, healthcare systems, religious institutions… I could go on.

Collard and cozy for the weekend (without the bacon). Another to the list?

Anything that inspired you? Have a sweet weekend!

The recipe is from Jubilee, a beautiful cookbook about African American cooking! I got it this winter and amazed by the photography, educated by the writing, and nourished with the recipes. I highly recommend it!

Hi Megan! That’s amazing! I saw it in her post and immediately searched it, found it and added it to the cart.

Love all the wonderful things I’m reading about it

Procreate is seriously tempting me to upgrade my ipad. Love this roundup – the paint one made me smile as farrow and ball is one of my faves.

Hi Ashley! I am the wrong sourch for Procreate because I believe it was and is worth every penny now that we have had it in the house for a good two weeks plus!

Thank you so much for reading. Hope you had a sweet weekend.
