We did school that morning and didn’t think much of the rest. We used the purple plastic sled that was already buried deep under the snow within a few minutes. The night before, we read The Snowy Day as the snow fell past our window. And I put my feet up with a glass of wine, and lit a candle on the fireplace, for peak coziness. This week, I’ve been inspired by the windows of joy and hope in 30 second videos, dancing children, cozy sweaters, advent activities, and of course, days and nights like our very own snowy day.
