Phew, another rainy day, and to be honest, it’s quite perfect. School today with the kids was relatively easy. My emails are not too bad, and I am preparing for a full week. But since today is feeling cozy and slow, I think it’s best to ride out the slow train for the rest of the day (if I can).
For me, that’s a cup of hot coffee (that Oak says I am sipping too loud) and looking at photos that inspire me. But it’s also deeper things like listening to a song, a podcast, reading an article, and drinking a seltzer in-between it all.
Here are more photos and things that have inspired me lately:

+ It’s this song and the Joy To The Polls playlists (Which I contributed to!)
+ This episode of The Daily
+ This thread and mine too
+ These new sneakers for growing feet
+ This oil waiting for me tonight
+ The sizzle of the seltzer on the newest version of Modern Love
+ This Guide for Black Mothers: Protecting Your Birth
Anything that you’ve read, listened to, or bought that has inspired you?
