On Noticing Things About My Style

The more I chat about my personal style, the more I notice things about it. Like things I’ve done for years that are rather small in scale, but are a deep part of my being. Recently, I’ve settled into a realization that I wear the hell out of things. And at times, I don’t like this about myself. Like, I wish I had some sot of urge to pull me out of the cycle of wearing that one thing again and again. But I can’t. I know this is a good thing in many ways. But for someone who does like to change this up, noticing this when it comes to the small things is quite funny.

For the past few weeks, that thing has been this orange beret. Which has been in every photo and at every event for the last two weeks. With my hair twisted back, a silk scaf tucked under, I’ve been set to wear it with tremendous ease. Many of my friends notice it, too. “I just look for the orange hat!” I heard yesterday morning.

But honestly, I can’t stop smiling when I wear it…

And so, when it comes to your personal style do you have anything you’re absoultley loving lately? Like you can’t stop wearing it!

Here are some berets I also like; This animal print one, a yellow ribbed one from TOAST, and this all black smooth leather version.

P.S a similar oversized blazer and my booties.

Thank you again for sharing. Don’t dislike this about yourself because it shows evidence of a content spirit and strong ability to connect. So many people are tossed and will roam this earth becase they are unable to find peace and connection. I buy the same shirt in different colors. Why? “Because I like the shirt!” I will hang-up a favorite outfit in its own special place in my closet knowing it’s going to be my go-to for the next couple of weeks and I feel brand-new every time I dawn it. This is awesome! Thank you for sharing this!
