Friday’s Inspiration: Making Things Merry

What are your plans this weekend? The advent calender is hung, the candles are already melted over twice, and we have plans to go on a little tree hunt tonight. I’m making a map! Hoping to find something worthy of a table top, but large enough for lights and the eclectic mix of ornaments we’ve gathered through the years.

Here are a few other bits of inspiration:

+ How friendships change with age

+ This album. ‘Tis the season for soul.

+ Being told I love you, I’m coming over.

+ Watched last weekend. May be watched again this weekend. Because Climate Change Instead of Bad Guys

+ Old videos I found of me and River when she was 1 and 2. Realizing how attentive I was, how smart she was (even then). Modern technology (and social) is wonderful.

+ Another year of these boots keeping my toes warm.

+ Caramel Corn, added to the “make” list this holiday season.

P.S I’m doing a mini winter tour! Because there’s always more. The first event is with Cat Bird (on MONDAY!) and can be found here. Others include Brooklyn Public Library (12/18) and one in Berlin, Germany (1/18). I’m so excited! rsvp to secure your seat at all of the events.
