Friday’s Inspiration (And Autumn Starter Kits)

How was your week? In yesterday’s newsletter I put together this tiny list which I called an autumn starter kit. Don’t we all have a few things we need, pull out from the back of the cabinet, or add to our lists once fall gets here? This fall, I’m working on reading more. My goal is to read at least 30 minutes a day. That means bringing a book with me for train rides, putting my phone down at lunch, and generally making sure I carve out some in-bed downtime before I fall asleep. I’m looking forward to it!

Here’s my Friday list:

+ If you’re looking to kick-off your autumn in style, Ace & Jig launched their newest collection today. It is absolutely stunning.

+ Speaking of currently reading, here’s what I’m on. I’m wondering if I listed it before. What are you reading?

+ Currently listening to Grace Jones while working. Feels like the perfect fall computer morning. Pull Up .

+ Last night, me and the kids cuddled in bed and read The Very Hungry Catepillar. I forgot how beautiful and interactive it is.

+ Something to read (quickly) daily. Thanks, Erin.

+ Poverty and POC

+ For autumn: for lighting a tiny desk and a late night reader, for cooking (for years to come), and for keeping me warm (with color).

JK Rowling’s adult novel “ A Casual Vacancy “ is in my top 5 books . She’s a straight up genius and deserves every cent of her fortune.
