Last fall I got these floral pedal pushers on a whim before a fashion show. Back then, I wore a thin top tucked in and the same strappy Brother Vellies sandals. And when the weather warmed up, and after looking at a flood of older photos of my family in the 80s, I went digging for them once again.

I personally love the way they accentuate my hips. Of course, simple sandals with a tie brought a desired delicate energy to the look. Which is a direct contrast to up top, where I play with block shapes in this Ilana Kohn Mabel Jacket, worn as a shirt. It leaves the eyes a bit confused (not the body), and also, took no-effort.

To finish the look, I wore oversized vintage hoops, and pushed my hair back in a loose vintage silk scarf. And I’m definitely still taking this bag for a spin.

Any pedal pushers in your closet begging for you to wear them once again?
Here are a few favorites online via (BLUE) Etsy , denim if you’re looking, and a plaid pair from one of my favorite shops.
