One of my favorite pictures of my grandmother happens to be a picture of her in her local park with a vest, a button down top, and pants. For years, its been a consistent look that I admire on everyone. And while it isn’t yet warm enough to only wear a vest and a top, when layered with a trench, I can wear something that makes me feel all warm inside (and on the outside).
The space between wearing a light over-layer and barely nothing is a tiny space here in the city. So when I notice the transition in weather that allows for this, I try to take full advantage.

I find that I see people wear trench coats more in the fall, and not so much in the spring. But personally, I love a trench for any season!

Yes, I have my grand mothers black trench coat that she used to take smokes in. Didnt like her smoking but I remember her in it with a smile. It is very much her and I feel like she is with me when I wear it.
