15 Colorful Things for Spring

Happy spring! Today we officially have 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. And minus all of the wonderful and freaky things that happen during this spring equinox, the most exciting (and surface) thing is that spring urges us to wear more color. Yes, there are lighter layers (today I wore this heavy denim jacket and skipped a coat), but I find that a woman’s relationship to color in the spring is sometimes a force needing to be explored.  And for that, I adore this blooming and transitional space between the cold and the sweltering. It’s an area to be played with, if you ask me.

In celebration here are 15 colorful things for spring…

+  In red, a printed and loud button down that would look amazing paired with vintage Levi’s and minimalist rings

+ A citrus suit to be broken up or layered in linen and denim

+ Orange accessories, from sunglasses to a beaded bag to a snakeskin print belt

+ Pink socks to wear with pink slip dresses because there’s never too much pink.

+ Pastel plaids in all the colors, bandana and  shoes

+ Blue hairclips and a blue jumpsuit

+ Vintage floral earrings and a hydrangea print t-shirt

Anything you’re excited to wear this spring?
