The Power Of A PantSuit

Pantsuits are back! But did they ever leave? I’ve been wearing blazers since I was a teenager, and its nice to see  pantsuits worn by celebrities and practically everyone on my Instagram feed, lately. I grew up with my mom wearing suits to work in the 90s. She’d pin her hair up, put on the most gorgeous bronze lipstick, wear her pumps out the door and put sneakers in her bag for the trip home. While this isn’t new to me, its been nice to see how they can be their own thing on just about everyone. The power of a pantsuit and how I wore this vintage one below…

This was an oversized men’s suit made for a woman. Not a gown. And then I began to cry. In this suit, I felt like me today. In this suit, I felt the truth of who I am well up in my gut. And then wondering what I wanted to say tonight become very clear to me.
