This year, Oak’s 4th birthday landed on Father’s Day! To celebrate it all, we had a picnic brunch for our friends and family under our favorite shady tree in Dumbo. We divided tickets for the carousel, and the kids played in the grass. Here are a few photos Peter snapped of the afternoon…
It was so hot that day, so I mostly stayed tucked under a hat and on a blanket, serving drinks and catching up with dear friends.
Because it was a brunch themed picnic, instead of cake we had DoughDoughnuts, which didn’t last a second.
We are at the age where the kids have sibling friends. So of course, River had so much fun playing with her friends too.
What a beautiful day, I can’t believe he’s four!
