What New Sneakers To Buy?

I’ve been wearing high-heels for as long as I remember. One of my first pair of shoes that had a bit of a heel were metallic ankle-strap sandals. My feet slid to the front each time I stepped down, and the silver darkened over time. At eight, I found nothing more satisfying than wearing them everyday.

When I had River, I started wearing clogs quite often, which became a good alternative. Over the last year, I’ve kind of switched it up…

Instead of grabbing or even shopping for heels, I’ve been building up my sneaker collection! Turns out, it’s kind of fun. I have always found a pair of kicks to be stylish, but wasn’t naturally drawn to buy or wear them. Lately with all the running and an occasional aching knee, sneakers have been the most practical.

It’s been nice mixing and matching a formal dress or my favorite vintage skirts with a pair of sneakers. I just finished shopping for a few more pairs for me and the kids, and if you’re interested, here’s what’s on my list or in my cart..

1. Air Max 95

2. Classic Supergas

3. Pink Stan Smith

4. Mustard Converse (!)

Do you have a favorite pair of warm-weather sneakers? Classics you can’t go without? Would love to know.

I love my leather, cream colored converse. They got me through the fall and now I'm wearing them with short floral dresses and skirts…and jeans:) They're all worn in now after a few years and are perfect when I don't feel like wearing clogs or espadrilles.

I don't think I love anything more than worn converse with dresses!
