In My Current Rotation

I tend to become a bit obsessive with one thing for a few weeks or a month (sometimes more), when I fall in love. Often, I’ll wear something until it’s thin and fraying. I’ve always been tied to clothing with a unique story, and this outfit, though simple in nature, is full of its own stories.

This reversible wrap top was a gift from Hackwith Design; a small team in Minnesota. Often, the pieces are made to order to reduce waste, and the entire collection started off years ago with very limited designs.

My jeans were a random vintage find on a slightly warm spring afternoon. My friend and I walked and talked, and I kind of stumbled upon these jeans. I tried them on and they fit like a glove, and the rarity and magic of the afternoon wasn’t lost on me.

Okay, I want to hear, do you have any one piece of clothing that you can’t get out of your current rotation?

I’ve been wearing a pair of jeans I bought on sale months ago but they were a little snug and now fit so comfy! Wear them almost daily. And a button down top I purchased last year but It goes with every single thing I wear. On repeat too. Love finding comfy items. I did just receive beautiful linen tops that fit like a glove- so I look forward to those days.

Living in a cold and wet city, from october to april it is always my vintage sweaters. Big thick dark blue woolen burberry vintage cardigan and a creamy white scottish thick cable knitted vintage one. With dresses or shirts and jeans or a skirt.
