A few weeks ago, I sat down with The Cut and discussed what power means to me, while wearing beautiful Eileen Fisher pieces. The feature focuses on myself and three other women and I was so inspired by their answers as well. Personally, I’ve always stood by my convictions when it comes to “power” and what tend to idealize, instead of realizing it is something within ourselves. Just like happiness, I think it’s one of the many things people all too often go searching for. When in reality, it is right there. You are in charge of it. No one else.
Isn’t it funny when we turn all of what we desire and possibly envy in others, on to ourselves? There’s real power in realizing that we do that, and we are in charge of the way in which we view something.
Here’s a bit from the interview:
You can see more of the images and read the full-interview with all of the women, over on The Cut. Thanks so much for having me!!
