Over the weekend, we took the kids to Coney Island. I didn’t plan for them to go in the sand, but as we were leaving the house, they grabbed their buckets and their swimsuits and started chanting; “Beach! Beach! Beach!” and so sand became part of the plan.
We spent most of the afternoon there, and we all returned home so tired and full of joy from the day. Here are a few photos of the afternoon..
While Coney Island beach isn’t my favorite, nothing compared to seeing the kids that happy. There’s no better way to kick off summer, if you ask me.
