4 Days In St.Croix

Last week, Peter and I left the kids for a few days and headed to the beautiful and charming island of St. Croix! Have you been there? With the help of Booking.com, we were able to take a break from everything and really disconnect. And so, the blog went quiet and the kids stayed with family in Brooklyn. It was wonderful to experience a new place with just Peter.

I just downloaded our photos, and we have so many! Everything was stunning, and I’m missing it’s warm beauty already. Bear with me as I try and break these image-heavy posts up.

We stayed at the Buccaneer hotel, which had breathtaking views. In-between exploring the island, I read on the porch, listened to the ocean and watched the sun set with a glass of wine.

I wore Doen’s Caravan dress a few nights, which made our evenings feel so romantic.

One evening we sailed to watch the sun set. There was live music and rum-punch, and barefoot glides across the boat.

We had amazing luck finding vegetarian friendly restaurants on the island. The only downside of all of the food was that Peter and I were often on New York dinner time. Many of the restaurants closed early in the evening, leaving us with some serious pm cravings.

This Pinafore dress is a gift from Ace & Jig, I practically wore it the entire trip.

This bathing suit is from Asos, my shoes are Birkenstocks.

I took this photo right before Peter jumped in the air and lost his glasses! I was kind of freaking out because he is kind of blind without them. A stranger came by and could tell we were looking for something and used her feet to step around the ocean’s floor. Before we knew it, she jumped, then dived down and grabbed his glasses! We were so relieved! Apparently, the year before, a bride lost her wedding ring, and this same stranger witnessed it and already knew the ocean’s ways.

I can’t wait to share more!

I heart all of the pictures and how cute is your dress and swimsuit! I'm glad the glasses were retrieved! We had this happen on a trip so now though we are both blind no glasses in water or rides lol. Booking has its hits and misses but they have came such a long way. They are my last go to if all my other booking habits fail. Can't wait to see more. The smiles of both of your faces is the best thing that was gathered from this post. We all need a vacay. Even if it's for a few days.

Everything is so beautiful!! I love the last story about Peterś lost glasses. It seems that the stranger became a friend in deed. 😉 My dearest friend just moved back home to St.Croix and I hope to visit her one day.

Side note: I have followed you on the net here and there for awhile and have started following you on IG since joining a while back. I love your content and so happy to connect with you in this space. Keep up the great work!
