There is always something new to learn about one’s body. Especially as it changes, and as the weather does too. For instance, I realized that I in-fact do like drop-crotch pants more than I love short shorts. Even more surprising, I feel way more comfortable with a super fitted top than a comfort fit top.
What I know to be true, from my days of styling and dishing advice on the such, is that come fall and winter, I’ll surely sing a different tune. So shall it be. For now, it’s about time for me to give some necessary credit over to one piece of clothing that has been sailing me through days on end; the low-cut bodysuit.
To be fair, I second guessed the purchase as too revealing for everyday. There’s where I failed for a moment. Surely, it doesn’t matter if what I was wearing was considered too revealing for anyone else. What feels good feels good, and that’s all that matters. Navigating those waters tends to be a bit funny.
Nevertheless, A bodysuit it was. This one in particular is from American Apparel, but you can find one at any store. They sell two at the price of one right here, and here’s a black one... with ruffles! Bodysuits look fantastic with maxi skirts and a good vintage pant suit. I love to leave my neck clear of jewelry when wearing mine, and opt for large earrings like these.
What’s your take on bodysuits?
P.S. The Watermelon Skirt, the perfect hat, and a surprising spring favorite.
hiya, so i love bodysuits but my boobs do not lol even the lovely ones in my size do not suport the top of me. Do i wear them yes.do I get away with it? I do anyway. Can you believe that i have those earrings and do not wear them. Actually i have custom made things i forget to wear. So i will today since you inspired me. Lol stay lovely!
If I can romp around the house in one or sleep in one I'm okay with a bodysuit, but it's an adult onsie and for all the times I have to make a run to the bathroom, I think I will pass on wearing one outside the nest.
