It’s been years since I’ve truly enjoyed a hat. I wear them often, but most, if not all, require some sort of hair manipulation to pull off. Braids, twist, four-day old tuck under, you name it, I did it. This summer’s hat comes with less chaos and more charm…
Brookes Boswell, made me this happen. In her craft, she made sure this Monarch hat in Panama straw, with a wrap-around visor, allowed my fro to be free, while shading me from the summer’s sun. A summer hat shouldn’t be cumbersome or flimsy. It should be well-made and easy.
What’s your signature summer hat style? I have always secretly loved baseball caps, but never could fit one over my hair.
