We have been living out of boxes the last two weeks. Some of it has been exhilarating; picking up and going, not caring, exploring outside more. Then there is the very real part, very silly part—us running around picking up and smelling clothes trying to find whatever is clean. We are on the last few boxes, but still, I don’t have a clear picture of my spring and summer wardrobe. In lieu of reaching for the same outfit day after day (though that’s not the worst idea), I’ve been incorporating comfortable and insanely easy pieces: t-shirts.
Below are four easy ways to style them…
1. With pastel toned high-waisted jeans . White v-neck t-shirts are easy and feminine, and are the perfect pairing for a pair of high waisted jeans. The color of the jeans make me feel fun and less tired. And the t-shirt is airy, balancing the snug fit of the denim.
2. With a neck scarf. When wearing a crew neck t-shirt , I threw on my favorite vintage neck-scarf. It instantly felt fancy.
3. Layered. Under a dress, under a spaghetti strap shirt , under a vest it goes. Recently, for a night out, I wore it under a large men’s button up. The button up was crossed over, showing the fit and slimming effect of the t-shirt.
4. With a bright lip. When it’s all said and done, the easiest way to dress up any t-shirt is with your favorite lip color. It’s classic and takes about 30 seconds to perfect.
Okay! I’d love to hear, what’s your favorite way to dress-up a t-shirt?

Very long-term reader here. I just wanted to comment on the blog content as of late. It seems that you're learning towards more and more sponsored posts that lack real content. I love the authenticity of your writing and miss your more (lengthy) thought-provoking posts about life, family, motherhood, etc.
Hi! Thanks for the comment, I understand where you are coming from. Actually, nothing has changed about the blog format. I have always kept it to 1-2 sp. post a week, and one thought-proving motherhood/family/ life post a week. Maybe because this was on a Monday you noticed it more? There's another piece coming up later this week that may interest you. And if you missed it last week, I actually posted two lovely (IMO 😉 ) pieces on motherhood and wrote four pieces on motherhood for the kitchen if you care to read them.
Blogging is tricky, but it is a job that I do take pride in at least trying to balance well with sp. and real write-ups. Nevertheless, I appreciate your readership and leaving a comment. I hope I answered some of your concerns. xxo L
I love the neck scarf tip!
