Gift Guide| Of the Shopping Small Kind

Hi! I hope you had a magical Thanksgiving! As co-founder of a small brand, I can’t relay the importance of shopping small enough during this shopping season. The integrity, time, and detail that goes into running a small business is astounding. There are so many more hoops you have to jump through as a small brand or shop, and it’s all because these bigger shops run just about everything. We pay more, we do more work, and we usually make the least amount of money. Most of us are working on the power of love and off of the love of our constant supporters.

I love knowing that there is a good person or people behind a brand or company. They’re accessible and relatable. Usually their core values are evident and clear.

Here are just a few small brands and shops that I love, and I hope you will shop at them today!

One| Brother VelliesA long time favorite.

Two| Duchess and Lion– We have a pair of pants that they so graciously sent us, and we just love them. River often gets stopped on the street about them.

Three| Life’s Little Thrills Shop All the patterns are just so beautiful.

Four| Brimful Shop– Everything in this shop is so ascetically pleasing. Each product is no fuss, and they’re perfect for the minimalist parent and child in your life.

Five|  Misha and Puff  – We love Misha and Puff products! Everything is super wearable. Granted, each piece is an investment, but they last so long. I have friends who have been wearing Misha and Puff since the beginning of time, and they still have so many of their original pieces. We love their bonnet for Oak, and I’m excited to purchase more pieces. Each piece is handmade by a knitting community located in Peru.

Six| Welkin New York City dugh. 😉

Seven| Zuzi Footwear– I love all the beautiful and clean colors of their shoes.

Eight| Hello Shiso– River has fallen in love with their clips, and I love the owner/mama behind the company. It’s great to support good people.

Nine| Darling Clementine Shop– A darling shop run by a darling lady.
