A $150 Giveaway With Minted!

This Christmas when it comes to actually getting all dressed up to take our family photos, Peter and I both weren’t that into it. I am starting to think the more he shoots things, and the more we do blog photos together, we yearn for more relaxed photos in any other situation.
One night, after my mom asked me about our picture plans, I decided we should just get it over with. I wanted to capture a very normal moment in time. That moment was 7pm, and a very tired mama, baby, and toddler. Peter had just gotten in from a set job, and despite that cheesy smile, he was feeling it too. Normal stuff. We took so many photos on the tripod, and they all make me giggle a little because they are so very… us. They’re dorky, silly, kind of off, and absolutely perfect in my eyes.
If I remember correctly, they are the only real photos of us as a family of four. I think it’s the best way to reintroduce ourselves to our loved ones, and wish them well all at the same time. We took so many that I couldn’t decide which silly ones to put up. So I just chose one.
In celebration of such a fantastic season, I’ve teamed up with Minted once again. Minted also created Oak’s birth announcements (he was so tiny!), and my family still talks about them. I am thrilled we are collaborating once again. Now you can get your holiday cards created with Minted as well!
Minted is offering one lucky reader a $150 credit to use on their personalized cards! Awesome right?
“Our purpose in life is to uncover exceptional design from all over the world and bring this to savvy consumers who won’t accept anything else.”

To enter the giveaway, head on over to Minted and check out their exceptional holiday cards for 2014, and then come back here and let me know which style you’d like for yourself in the comments. (I personally love the foil pressed cards.) I will pick a winner Friday, December 5th. Good luck!

I too love the foil pressed cards. With a baby due right at the new year I would love to use one of the happy new year cards to introduce our child to family & friends! I would pick one of the simple gold foil cards where we could spell out baby's name, weight, height and birth date along with a special message from us, the new parents!
    thanks

I'm not looking to win the giveaway, I just wanted to say I loved your post on ABM but couldn't comment there because my computer is being slow and wouldn't load the comments section so I thought I'd pop over here and see if I could leave a comment here (and apparently I can XD). Anyway, it was a beautiful post, and your hair is gorgeous!

Also, that family photo at the top is adorable – River's hands on her little brother's face are just awww <3

We just bought a house and are having a baby in January so we want it to be both a moving announcement and to share our joy! I love that they address them for you for FREE! Perfect when you are busy panicking about the nursery and what to put in the hospital bag all while preparing for the holidays and having to waddle around and be out of breath. I love it!

Those foil-stamped cards are top notch! I like the "Snowflake Wishes" design. I've been thinking about our card off and on, the past few days. I, too, am leaning toward a more relaxed photo for this year. Perhaps I'll catch a candid moment tomorrow, at Thanksgiving.
