Nothing says welcome new season, like coveting a few things that are weather appropriate, beautiful, and maybe/sometimes out of your mostly appropriate seasonal budget. When it comes to fall shopping, I like to keep my mind on investment pieces. Fall isn’t for cheap shopping, unfortunately. That has to be saved for summer, with its light thrifted dresses and vintage espadrilles. Fall is all about the things that will last you through. Chances are, you aren’t really shopping during winter (besides Christmas), unless it’s for a new coat. So fall is the time where you should be thinking ahead-way ahead. When shopping, or if you’re just creating a wish list like I am here, think layering pieces, think everyday, and even think color, you’ll need a pick-me-up when it starts getting cold.
