Hi guys! Well, the day is here, and against my sometimes-procrastinating mind I am finally sharing photos of our combined living room and dining room. It took a good year. Our place is always a work in progress. Things are constantly changing, getting replaced, moving to a new spot etc etc. I think maybe that’s why I’ve had a hard time completely sharing it. With that said, this space is about to get a bit more crazy, baby seats, toys.. the works. So sharing now just had to be the right time. I am so happy I finally snapped these photos of our progress.
Our apartment is well loved and played in, especially this space in particular. I’m excited to see how it changes in the next few weeks as our family expands. Thank you so much for taking a look.
And real life at our house lately… almost everyday. Lots of waiting. Photo from instagram.

I think your space is absolutely beautiful! I love all the pops of color! Your place just "feels" good…wonderful job! Really giving me some inspiration!
Wow your home is so lovely! Love the yellow triangle/ accents.
Gorgeous home — loving the vintage feel and those teal kitchen chairs!
Also, that last picture is truly something else… seems straight out of a magazine or something.
Beautiful progress!! Love that gallery wall and the yellow pop!!
Great use of color! We are moving from Brooklyn in less than 2 months *sigh* so I'm trying to pump myself up by scouting out home ideas. Lots of good ones here 🙂
beautiful space–I especially love the picture of you and your daughter–such a precious moment! I love the pops of yellow and teal and that bag sitting on the chair in the second to last picture caught my eye! so pretty!
I need that couch! Where is it from?
Love rooms like yours that are full of cozy, personal touches. That last picture is beautiful! Good luck with the new babe 🙂
I just found your blog from a pin on Pinterest from your "Inner Beauty" post. Just had to say that we have that exact armchair! It was my husband's before we were married; he thinks his mom bought it new somewhere years and years ago. It is very well loved in our home too. So much so, that the fabric on the armrests has worn through and the stuffing is showing. I'm thinking of having it reupholstered.
Such a great space. I love all of the colour
I just left a comment but it seems to have disappeared, so I'll leave it again in hopes that you don't get it twice. 😉 I found your blog through Pinterest and just wanted to say how lovely I think your home is! Love the simple beauty, and the creativity behind it. The shelf with the yellow triangle behind it is brilliant. I might have to borrow that idea. 😀 Thanks for sharing, beauty!
I love your home! Creative, colorful and lovely!
