What I Wish I Was Wearing| 003

River calls them “Polka Nots” but we all know the real name… Polka Dots. I just love them. It seems as if polka dots are definitely a love it or leave it kind of thing, and that I get. I think worn the right way like above; easy, vintage-esque, with pops of color is the best way. But there are also days when mixed with another pattern, polka dots can be absolutely charming and stylish. I’ve worn polka dots both ways, and plan on turning this wish into a reality in the next coming weeks.

I've known people that just hate polka dots, but I can't help but love them. It doesn't matter how they're worn and they can be worn so many ways – red and white polka dots can be cheery, black and white can be classy. When I would shop with my mom when I was teenager, anything I would hold up would make her crinkle her nose and say 'It's too loud, too much.' so I guess polka dots kind of go along with that aesthetic for me.
    Love this new series, btw!

I don't understand why some people are so offended by polka dots! It's just another pattern, and one of my favs – especially navy with white polka dots. yummy!
