*footnote: Last summer I had the opportunity to be a part of a new documentary called “American Blogger.” My friend Casey, who I just met in New York a few weeks back and who helped me through the loss of our baby in an amazing way, asked me to share my story among other inspiring and fantastic bloggers. I wrote a few words on instagram about how I am honored to be a part of this project, but more importantly how I am proud to be a woman of color who shares her story in such a large range-through film. There are plenty of bloggers out there, all unique and beautiful. I am happy that my unique story as a mother, a black woman, a woman who has went through child loss, and as an interracial family was portrayed in this film. Chris did fantastic on the trailer, and I can’t wait to see more! I think I might even have a little viewing party at my place. As always, thank you for letting me share my story here with you all, it’s been amazing.
