It’s chilly here in the city. The sun shines, but not as bright as it did a few weeks ago. The leaves are filling our sidewalk and create a beautiful masterpiece. My body wants to be layered in patters. Colorful, bright, fun patterns. As a stylist, actually before I became an “official” stylist, I knew I had to find out who I was. To talk about style, to help others style themselves, you have to be comfortable in your own skin, in the pieces you want to wear. You have to know your voice, and stick with it.
I was with a friend earlier today and she looked so beautiful to me. She wasn’t wearing anything bright or loud. What she was wearing was hers. Her confidence in all her black stood out. She was simply rocking it. So wether your wearing lots of layers, patterns, or all black, wear it.. rock it-own it!
I find more and more I tend to go with monochrome of black, white, grays… but with color here and there. I wish I wore color as well as you! But I love my simple look–and I also love that tomato red that's prevalent now, as my fave *pop* color. I keep buying more and more of it accidentally/on purpose. 🙂
I wish you were MY stylist!
