As a family of three, and even almost as a family of four, there were just a handful of things that calmed our spirits and put pure joy in our hearts. To name a few; shopping for our family-as a family, taking a road trip with no specific destination, a movie on the couch cuddled up, and a picnic in the park. No matter what time of the season, or the current state of our lives, they did the trick.Lately in the past few weeks, our family has been going through changes. The good kind of changes. And I’ll be upfront and say no, one of the changes isn’t a baby…yet. Soon. 😉 All changes for the good, and all changes that are part of this big picture in life. Change that we feel so blessed to be granted with. Changes that make me believe in good people, good hearts, dreams, passion, hard work, and a good life. Offers, and doors are opening up. Kind hearts are giving.
Peter received an offer we couldn’t refuse, an offer that will no doubt give us what we’ve been needing as a family. He deserves this. We deserve this. No longer as a freelancer, but as a full-time creative. With people he loves, and so do I. My heart is happy, even if this means our family days are cut down to only weekends, and there are more days with just my wee girl and I, my heart is happy. Our family is happy. And so… we picnic in the park on a Saturday.
