Happy belated Memorial Day!
I am incredibly thankful to live in this country. I am constantly in awe of all the people who gave their lives and are still fighting for our freedom. I can raise my daughter in one of the largest and busiest cities and still feel safe. All because of those who have courageously paved the way.

We spent our Memorial Day enjoying the simple things. The things we often take for granted because they come so easily. A bicycle ride in our neighborhood, a picnic, our park, and ice cream… oh, ice cream. We had the most perfect weather and the most beautiful time together! How did you spend your day?
