New York City had it’s very first snow storm yesterday, and it was magnificent! It started early in the afternoon, but continued to fall into the late hours of the night. I always look forward to the first snow of the season. My inner child comes out to play, and is unapologetically thrilled with piles of the fluffy stuff. Tomorrow I have plans to take River and explore the fluffy stuff more in Manhattan. I’m sure she’ll love it. And truth is, I’ll probably love it a bit more. 😉 It seems as if the holiday spirit just hit me today, and I am ready for Christmas music, hot chocolate with marshmallows, Elf for movie night-every Friday night, and dare I say…. holiday decorating? Yes, Yes, Yes, and Yes!
P.S I have the cutest Sorel snow boots that I received from Peter when I was 8/9 months pregnant that I am equally excited about wearing tomorrow. Thanks husband. Oh, and thanks for this beautiful film. You da’ best boo. 😉
