Dear River Mae,
You turned 17 months on Tuesday, and i’m still in shock. Where has the time gone? You probably don’t notice, but you change and grow every single day. You are running now, talking tons (new words include “what’s dat?” and “a, oo, ree!” (one, two, three!)), and you are certainly a dancing machine. You love shopping, and dislike staying indoors. No matter how tough the previous day was, I always wake up so happy to hear you call my name. A friend of mine said “The days are long, but the years are short”, she couldn’t be more on point. Sometimes, I wish you could be my little baby forever, but I am equally happy to know you are growing into a wonderful little lady. My little lady.
